The GODIL is manufactured by OHO-Elektronik and distributed by Trenz Electronic in Germany.

All current designs, and the bistreams published in this repository target the smaller XC3S250E based device:

If you have any plans to extend the system, then it might be prudent to buy the larger XC3S500E based device:

To program the GODIL, it's best to purchase a Xilinx USB Platform Cable. There are Chinese clones available on eBay for approx £20 that work perfectly well:
