Misha Brukman 339ff0acb8 This way it's easier to test: if the call to external exit(0) succeeded, 
program exits with code 0, no error. If the call does not work/succeed, main
returns 1, so we notice it. The other way around doesn't work. :)

Misha Brukman ab6d293435 On `make clean', kill the core files produced, which are of the form: 
core.### where ### is the process ID. We use core.[0-9][0-9]* to avoid killing
core.c, core.cpp, and core.h files which may be part of benchmarks.

Misha Brukman dc2ec004f1 This should fix the bug seen with some registers not being allocated 
correctly: skipping instructions by incorrectly incrementing the pointer.

Also adds support for building a reg-to-regclass map, and splits the function
for saving register to stack into two, one suitable for virtual registers
(which also assigns it a physical register) and one for simply storing back
physical registers.

Misha Brukman 35880f394f Instead of checking op.getType() against MO_VirtualRegister and 
MO_MachineRegister, we no longer distinguish Virtual vs. Machine registers
externally, they're ALL registers, all equal.

Registers are only differentiated whether they are >=
MRegisterInfo::FirstVirtual or not.

Misha Brukman b83b28697c Add definitions for function headers from MRegisterInfo.h: 
Some functions are in X86RegisterInfo.cpp, others, because of the data they
need, are in X86RegisterClasses.cpp, which also defines some register classes:
byte, short, and int.

Misha Brukman 1617e6c997 SSARegMap -- the mapping between SSARegisters and their RegisterClasses, which 
imply types of SSA Registers. This is on a per-function basis, so the
MachineFunction contains the SSARegMap, and has accessor functions to it.

Misha Brukman 520eaff91a Following Chris's advice, I'm pruning some unnecessary .h includes that I'm 
noticing. Since Module includes Function, and eventually, BasicBlock and
GlobalVariable, the last three are unnecessary to be included directly.

Misha Brukman b5f096fc51 Compiling with "gmake" should produce less output. The compilation/linking 
flags are always the same anyway, who wants to see so much text on the
screen? Compiling with "gmake VERBOSE=1" should produce all the output
you're used to.

Basically it checks for VERBOSE being defined, and if it is, sets VERB
appropriately. VERB is then prepended in a bunch of key places such that
when VERB is "@", the command is not echoed, when VERB is not set to
anything, it's as before.

One thing I could not get rid of is "gmake[1]: Entering directory <blah>",
but running "gmake -s" suppresses it all, and shows just the interesting
stuff.

Now output (when running "gmake -s" will look something like):
