## Features
2018-12-19 19:04:19 +01:00
* high performance, due to being designed and optimized for 8-bit microprocessors
2017-12-06 22:00:04 +01:00
* multiple targets:
* Commodore 64 (the primary target)
* Commodore 64 with SuperCPU (experimental, incomplete and very buggy)
2018-12-19 19:04:19 +01:00
* other Commodore computers: C16, Plus/4, C128, PET, VIC-20 (stock or with RAM extensions)
2017-12-06 22:00:04 +01:00
2018-03-17 18:21:50 +01:00
* Famicom/NES (the second most important target)
2018-03-15 23:46:16 +01:00
2017-12-06 22:00:04 +01:00
* Atari 8-bit computers
2018-01-23 13:37:03 +01:00
2018-04-03 00:21:26 +02:00
* BBC Micro
2018-01-23 13:37:03 +01:00
* Apple II+/IIe/Enhanced IIe
2018-07-25 00:04:00 +02:00
* ZX Spectrum 48k
* NEC PC-88
2018-07-31 01:02:55 +02:00
2018-12-19 22:21:51 +01:00
* Amstrad CPC
2018-12-19 19:04:19 +01:00
2018-07-31 01:02:55 +02:00
* CP/M
2018-12-19 19:04:19 +01:00
* Atari 2600 (experimental)
2017-12-06 22:00:04 +01:00
* inline assembly
2018-03-17 18:21:50 +01:00
* simple macros
2017-12-06 22:00:04 +01:00
* pay only for what you use: not a single byte of memory is used unless for code or explicitly declared variables
* simple memory model that avoids using the stack
2018-12-19 19:04:19 +01:00
* multi-pass whole-program optimizer (that will even optimize your hand-written assembly if you ask it to)
