CharacterMapper.cpp
Within the
Typer
framework: hatched out
CharacterMapper
as a distinct thing from the target for keypresses, better to formalise responsibility but also to make it easy cleanly to sever that stuff into its own little part.

const [Half]Cycles &
as it's explicitly defined to be only one
int
in size, so using a reference is overly weighty.
