From aabc6a9b79b179e7a69dd78900dcd05215977112 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Bob Wilson Date: Tue, 20 Sep 2011 22:05:56 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Remove the hack to check UNAME_RELEASE when identifying the Darwin version. This was only needed to locate llvm-gcc's installation directory when clang falls back to run llvm-gcc for i386 kexts. As of clang svn r140187, we're now just searching paths with several different Darwin versions on either side of the current version, so this is no longer needed. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@140188 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8 --- lib/Support/Unix/Host.inc | 9 --------- 1 file changed, 9 deletions(-) diff --git a/lib/Support/Unix/Host.inc b/lib/Support/Unix/Host.inc index c5de97f73c9..dda3ce2c6f9 100644 --- a/lib/Support/Unix/Host.inc +++ b/lib/Support/Unix/Host.inc @@ -29,15 +29,6 @@ using namespace llvm; static std::string getOSVersion() { struct utsname info; -#ifdef __APPLE__ - // Recognize UNAME_RELEASE environment variable to match Darwin's uname, - // where the value of this variable sets the OS release version - // reported by "uname -r". - const char *UnameOverride = ::getenv("UNAME_RELEASE"); - if (UnameOverride && UnameOverride[0] != '\0') - return UnameOverride; -#endif // __APPLE__ - if (uname(&info)) return "";
