Use archive libraries instead of object files for VMCore, BCReader,
...
BCWriter, and bzip2 libraries. Adjust the various makefiles to accommodate
these changes. This was done to speed up link times.

Okay, this is a little hack that "scratches an itch" of mine.
...
I dislike having to examine the output of "dis" to see what symbols
are in a bytecode file. So, here is a first cut at a "nm" utility for llvm.
