Chris Lattner f3597a13ae If we have ScalarSSE, we can select bitconvert into single instructions. 
This compiles bitcast.ll:test3/test4 into:

_test3:
        movd %xmm0, %eax
        ret
_test4:
        movd %edi, %xmm0
        ret

Low Level Virtual Machine (LLVM)
================================

This directory and its subdirectories contain source code for the Low Level 
Virtual Machine, a toolkit for the construction of highly optimized compilers,
optimizers, and runtime environments.
