Better support the IIe's aux slot when it's empty or has the 80-col(1KiB) card.
- any h/w using this alternate CPU emulation, (ie. aux=empty or 80-col(1KiB)), then the 'mem' cache is completely bypassed.
Debugger: change all the direct 'mem' accesses to go via ReadByteFromMemory().
TestCPU6502: test the alt CPU emulation code too.
. Save-state: Mockingboard v13: deprecate SS_YAML_KEY_VOTRAX_PHONEME (from Mockingboard card).
. Consolidate the save/loading of the SSI263 & SC01 state into single function (in class SSI263).
. Defer each SSI263's DSInit() until SSI263::Play() & Update() are called.
. Refactor DSInit(): rename to Init() for consistency with MockingboardCardManager class.
. m_currentActivePhoneme: never return to -1 value, instead OR with kPhonemeLeadoutFlag.

This replaces the LPDIRECTSOUNDBUFFER pointer with a pure virtual class and an implementation that wraps the LPDIRECTSOUNDBUFFER, allowing other sound implementations without having to simulate the exact alignment of a DIRECTSOUNDBUFFER object.
Additionally, moves the DSInit and DSUninit calls out of the SoundCore.cpp file (into a new DXSoundBuffer.cpp (for Windows)), allowing them to be appropriately reimplemented in a non-DirectSound environment.
. A phoneme will continue playing back infinitely; unless the phoneme is changed or CTL=1.
. Reset doesn't affect SSI263/SC01 (so phonemes continue to play).
. CTL=1 sets "PD" (Power Down / "standby") mode, also set at power-on.
. CTL=0 brings device out of "PD" mode, the mode will be set to DR1,DR0 and the phoneme P5-P0 will play.
. Setting mode to DR1:0 = %00 just disables A/!R (ie. disables interrupts), but otherwise retains the previous DR1:0 mode.
. RESET is not connected to !PD/!RST pin 18.
. Support edge-case where RESET can enable ints & assert IRQ.
. Power-on: PD=1 (so D7=0), reg4 (Filter Freq)=0xFF.
. Support SSI263 IRQ and D7 on a Phasor mode change (including Echo+).
. $Csxx I/O mapping (same for Mockingboard and Phasor mode).
Other:
. SSI263 save-state: support SC01 as a sub-unit of the card.
. 6522: Fix reg $F (ORA w/HS) to be identical to reg $1 (ORA).
Mockingboard or Phasor cards can be inserted into any slot.
Change Config->Sound to that slots 4+5 to be individually selected for the 3 soundcard types.
Add MockingboardCardManager class to manage multiple cards and mix the sound buffers.
Reason: calling SetVolume() in Play() is too early, and the previous phoneme won't have completed.
Getting the timing right will be difficult, so better to just manipulate the samples as they get written to the playback buffer.
Fix for rare race-condition, where a phoneme could complete immediately before SSI263's interrupt is enabled:
- resulting in A2 code failing to detect SSI263 or speech phrase never completing.
Only ever possible when debugger-stepping or in full-speed mode.
- Simplify common StrFormat(), especially in Debugger (changes upcoming)
- Add helpers StrAppendByteAsHex() and StrAppendWordAsHex()
- Add helpers StrBufferAppendByteAsHex() and StrBufferAppendWordAsHex() for plain string buffer
And these Debugger related:
. Improve FormatAddress() and GetSymbol().
. GetSymbol(), FindSymbolFromAddress(), FormatAddress() are changed to use std::string instead.
. Remove static variable (not nice) in FormatAddress().
. GetSymbol() returns std::string reference instead of pointer.
