081e38483e Remove xcalloc() and convert its callers to xzalloc(). About half of them 
were using "1" as one of the arguments anyway, and as for the rest a multiply
and a push isn't noticeably bigger than pushing two arguments on the stack.

d921b2ecc0 Remove bb_ prefixes from xfuncs.c (and a few other places), consolidate 
things like xasprintf() into xfuncs.c, remove xprint_file_by_name() (it only
had one user), clean up lots of #includes...  General cleanup pass.  What I've
been doing for the last couple days.

And it conflicts!  I've removed httpd.c from this checkin due to somebody else
touching that file.  It builds for me.  I have to catch a bus.  (Now you know
why I'm looking forward to Mercurial.)

cee605c525 The supposedly trivial CONFIG->ENABLE conversion wasn't so trivial. The 
-exec feature shouldn't be tangled up with this, so revert everything but

5ba5f4d2e7 In Bug 78, shortkey points out: 
If you run `grep -h . file1 file2 file3 ...`, the output is not prefixed 
with the filename.  If you run `grep -h . file1` however, the filename 
will incorrectly prefix the output.

candidates' stage of development is at best unwise. So, i'm currently
asking for comments about this patch, starting from whether such thing
is needed at all to whether it coded properly.

'make check' should work now, and one make creates Makefile in build
directory, so one can run 'make' in build directory after that.

One possible caveat is that if we build in some directory other than
source one, the source directory should be 'distclean'ed first.

    I rewrite bb_getopt_ulflags() function for more universal usage.
    My version support now:
    - options with arguments (optional arg as GNU extension also)
    - complementaly and/or incomplementaly and/or incongruously and/or list
    options
    - long_opt (all applets may have long option, add supporting is trivial)
    This realisation full compatibile from your version.
    Code size grow 480 bytes, but only coreutils/* over compensate this size
    after using new function. Last patch reduced over 800 bytes and not full
    applied to all. "mkdir" and "mv" applets have long_opt now for demonstrate
    trivial addition support long_opt with usage new bb_getopt_ulflags().
    Complementaly and/or incomplementaly and/or incongruously and/or list options
    logic is not trivial, but new "cut" and "grep" applets using this logic
    for examples with full demostrating. New "grep" applet reduced over 300
    bytes.

c9f20d9fb9 Yet another major rework of the BusyBox config system, using the considerably 
modified Kbuild system I put into uClibc.  With this, there should be no more
need to modify Rules.mak since I've moved all the interesting options into the
config system.  I think I've got everything updated, but you never know, I may
have made some mistakes, so watch closely.

85208e2ab9 Completely rework the config system so that it no longer annoys me to work on 
the busybox development tree.  This eliminates the use of recursive make, and
once again allows us to run 'make' in a subdirectory with the expected result.
And things are now much faster too.  Greatly improved IMHO...

044a72d0d5 Larry suggested using concat_path_file() would be an even safer bet 
for 'which'.  I ageed, so I whipped this up -- which revealed a bug in
concat_path_file.  It turns out that that a '/' can be appended from
either the path _or_ the filename, but only the former was checked.

7526f035f4 Fix a buffer overflow. Which accounted for the size of the path, plus the the 
'/', plus the size of the test command.  It did not account for the terminating
NULL, which overwrote the end of the string.

cbe31dace5 It turns out that DODMALLOC was broken when I reorganized busybox.h 
header file usage before the 0.49 release.  To fix it, I had to move
the '#include "busybox.h"' to the end of the list of #include files.

ed3ef50c23 Fix header file usage -- there were many unnecessary header files included in 
busybox.h which slowed compiles.  I left only what was needed and then fixed up
all the apps to include their own header files.  I also fixed naming for pwd.h
and grp.h functions.  Tested to compile and run with libc5, glibc, and uClibc.

e081eae7a4 Final (I think) version of xargs. Throw away all that tedious string 
scrubbing, and quit using system.  Instead, use fork() and exec(), which
yields and smaller, simpler, and cleaner design.

63dde9d4ce Simplify and remove dependence on PATH_MAX 
buf[PATH_MAX] now defined using strlen to the exact size to be used.
removed output that was displayed if which didnt find the command, this makes itmatch the behaviour of GNU's which.
These modifications result in a slight size decrease.
