ROGUE is one of the oldest computer game genres. It has a long history, dating back to 1980. This version takes the basic idea and ups-the-ante by making visibility a core strategy. Light and darkness can be used to navigate the cave and evade enemies. It uses a cone-of-site algorithm to display the cave and map out where you've been. Playing is harder than you think.
