Chris Lattner 5729d38c81 reapply 86289, 86278, 86270, 86267, 86266 & 86264 plus a fix 
(making pred factoring only happen if threading is guaranteed
to be successful).

This now survives an X86-64 bootstrap of llvm-gcc.

Low Level Virtual Machine (LLVM)
================================

This directory and its subdirectories contain source code for the Low Level
Virtual Machine, a toolkit for the construction of highly optimized compilers,
optimizers, and runtime environments.

LLVM is open source software. You may freely distribute it under the terms of
the license agreement found in LICENSE.txt.
