The LTO Internalize pass is hiding symbols needed by the bugpoint-passes
plug-in. We need to add a flag to control whether Internalize should be run.
This is a temporary workaround to make these tests pass in the meantime.

When building with LTO, the internalize pass is hiding some global symbols
that are necessary for the JIT unittests. It seems like that may be a bug in
LTO to do that by default, but until that gets fixed, this change makes sure
that we export the necessary symbols for the tests to pass.

This reverts commit 165776. The plug-in uses this symbol; it does not
define it. It needs to be exported from bugpoint itself, not from the plug-in.

This is a temporary hack until Bill's project to record command line options

recorded anywhere and it doesn't get used in the final LTO compilation.

Without this change, when the estimated cost for inlining a function with
an "alwaysinline" attribute was lower than the inlining threshold, the
getInlineCost function was returning that estimated cost rather than the
special InlineCost::AlwaysInlineCost value. That is fine in the normal
inlining case, but it can fail when the inliner considers the opportunity
cost of inlining into an internal or linkonce-odr function. It may decide
not to inline the always-inline function in that case. The fix here is just
to make getInlineCost always return the special value for always-inline
functions. I ran into this building clang with libc++. Tablegen failed to
link because of an always-inline function that was not inlined. I have been
unable to reduce the testcase down to a reasonable size.

I also moved the SDKROOT setting into the make flags, since clearing it from
the environment isn't good enough to override a setting on the make command
line. That hasn't been a problem but it could be, and it's good to be
consistent with the way UNIVERSAL_SDK_PATH is handled.

Rationale: For each preprocessor macro, either the definedness is what's
meaningful, or the value is what's meaningful, or both. If definedness is
meaningful, we should use #ifdef. If the value is meaningful, we should use
and #ifdef interchangeably for the same macro, seems ugly to me, even if
undefined macros are zero if used.
This also has the benefit that including an LLVM header doesn't prevent
you from compiling with -Wundef -Werror.

If an allocation has a must-alias relation to the access pointer, we treat it
as a Def. Otherwise, without this check, the code here was just skipping over
the allocation call and ignoring it. I noticed this by inspection and don't
have a specific testcase that it breaks, but it seems like we need to treat
a may-alias allocation as a Clobber.

The previous change caused fast isel to not attempt handling any calls to
builtin functions. That included things like "printf" and caused some
noticable regressions in compile time. I wanted to avoid having fast isel
keep a separate list of functions that had to be kept in sync with what the
code in SelectionDAGBuilder.cpp was handling. I've resolved that here by
moving the list into TargetLibraryInfo. This is somewhat redundant in
SelectionDAGBuilder but it will ensure that we keep things consistent.

I noticed that SelectionDAGBuilder::visitCall was missing a check for memcmp

This is still a work in progress but I believe it is currently good enough
to fix PR13122 "Need unit test driver for codegen IR passes". For example,
you can run llc with -stop-after=loop-reduce to have it dump out the IR after
running LSR. Serializing machine-level IR is not yet supported but we have
some patches in progress for that.
The plan is to serialize the IR to a YAML file, containing separate sections
for the LLVM IR, machine-level IR, and whatever other info is needed. Chad
suggested that we stash the stop-after pass in the YAML file and use that
instead of the start-after option to figure out where to restart the
compilation. I think that's a great idea, but since it's not implemented yet
I put the -start-after option into this patch for testing purposes.

The tLDRr instruction with the last register operand set to the zero register
prints in assembly as if no register was specified, and the assembler encodes
it as a tLDRi instruction with a zero immediate. With the integrated assembler,
that zero register gets emitted as "r0", so we get "ldr rx, [ry, r0]" which
is broken. Emit the instruction as tLDRi with a zero immediate. I don't
know if there's a good way to write a testcase for this. Suggestions welcome.
Opportunities for follow-up work:
1) The asm printer should complain if a non-optional register operand is set
to the zero register, instead of silently dropping it.
2) The integrated assembler should complain in the same situation, instead of
silently emitting the operand as "r0".

ARMBaseRegisterInfo::canRealignStack was checking for variable-sized objects
but not for stack adjustments around calls. Use hasReservedCallFrame() to

My change r146949 added register clobbers to the eh_sjlj_dispatchsetup pseudo

We used to rely on the *eh_sjlj_setjmp instructions to mark that a function
with setjmp/longjmp exception handling clobbers all the registers. But with
the recent reorganization of ARM EH, those eh_sjlj_setjmp instructions are
expanded away earlier, before PEI can see them to determine what registers to
save and restore. Mark the dispatchsetup instruction in the same way, since
that instruction cannot be expanded early. This also more accurately reflects
when the registers are clobbered.

would record the landing pad once for each invoke. Besides the wasted
effort, a pair of volatile loads gets inserted every time the landing pad is
processed. The rest of the code can get optimized away when a landing pad
is processed repeatedly, but the volatile loads remain, resulting in code like:

The EmitBasePointerRecalculation function has 2 problems, one minor and one
fatal. The minor problem is that it inserts the code at the setjmp
instead of in the dispatch block. The fatal problem is that at the point
where this code runs, we don't know whether there will be a base pointer,
so the entire function is a no-op. The base pointer recalculation needs to
be handled as it was before, by inserting a pseudo instruction that gets
expanded late.
Most of the support for the old approach is still here, but it no longer
has any connection to the eh_sjlj_dispatchsetup intrinsic. Clean up the
parts related to the intrinsic and just generate the pseudo instruction
directly.
