525178cdbf Migrate X86 and ARM from using X86ISD::{,I}DIV and ARMISD::MULHILO{U,S} to 
use ISD::{S,U}DIVREM and ISD::{S,U}MUL_HIO. Move the lowering code
associated with these operators into target-independent in LegalizeDAG.cpp
and TargetLowering.cpp.

389079b59f DAGCombiner support for UDIVREM/SDIVREM and UMUL_LOHI/SMUL_LOHI. 
Check if one of the two results unneeded so see if a simpler operator
could bs used. Also check to see if each of the two computations could be
simplified if they were split into separate operators. Factor out the code
that calls visit() so that it can be used for this purpose.

68e53ad6cb Add a new function tcExtract for extracting a bignum from an 
arbitrary range of bits embedded in the middle of another bignum.
This kind of operation is desirable in many cases of software
floating point, e.g. converting bignum integers to floating point
numbers of fixed precision (you want to extract the precision most
significant bits).

Elsewhere, add an assertion, and exit the shift functions early if
the shift count is zero.

7a7bc0f724 Now that convertFromUnsignedParts has a sane, constant interface, 
convertFromZeroExtendedInteger can be simplified as it doesn't need
to make a copy of the source bignum.

643ce59495 Reimplement convertFromUnsignedInteger so it is passed a const bignum. 
It used to modify its argument in-place.

This interface is saner and the implementation more efficient.  It will
be needed for decimal->binary conversion.

ccf596a53e convertFromInteger, as originally written, expected sign-extended 
input.  APInt unfortunately zero-extends signed integers, so Dale
modified the function to expect zero-extended input.  Make this
assumption explicit in the function name.

f10c973797 If a node that defines a physical register that is expensive to copy. The 
scheduler will try a number of tricks in order to avoid generating the
copies. This may not be possible in case the node produces a chain value
that prevent movement. Try unfolding the load from the node before to allow
it to be moved / cloned.

This version enhances the previous patch to add root initialization

Collector gives its subclasses control over generic algorithms:

068317bfa3 Refactor the memcpy lowering for the x86 target. 
The only generated code difference is that now we call memcpy when
the size of the array is unknown. This matches GCC behavior and is
better since the run time value can be arbitrarily large.

82482944ed TargetAsmInfo::getAddressSize() was incorrect for x86-64 and 64-bit targets 
other than PPC64. Instead of fixing it, just remove it and fix all the
places that use it to use TargetData::getPointerSize() instead, as there
aren't very many. Most of the references were in DwarfWriter.cpp.

fc3282221f CollectorMetadata abstractly describes stack maps for a function. 
It includes:

 - location and of each safe point in machine code (identified by a
   label)
 - location of each root within the stack frame (identified by an
   offset), including the metadata tag provided to llvm.gcroot in
   the user program
 - size of the stack frame (for collectors which want to cheat on
   stack crawling :)
 - and eventually will include liveness

It is to be populated by back-ends during code-generation.

CollectorModuleMetadata aggregates this information across the
entire module.

ff11026575 - Added MRegisterInfo::getCrossCopyRegClass() hook. For register classes where reg to reg copies are not possible, this returns another register class which registers in the specified register class can be copied to (and copy back from). 
- X86 copyRegToReg() now supports copying between EFLAGS and GR32 / GR64 registers.

a37c9f7506 When both x/y and x%y are needed (x and y both scalar integer), compute 
both results with a single div or idiv instruction. This uses new X86ISD
nodes for DIV and IDIV which are introduced during the legalize phase
so that the SelectionDAG's CSE can automatically eliminate redundant
computations.

0488db9b99 Added support for new condition code modeling scheme (i.e. physical register dependency). These are a bunch of instructions that are duplicated so the x86 backend can support both the old and new schemes at the same time. They will be deleted after

a6fb1b6743 Added major new capabilities to scheduler (only BURR for now) to support physical register dependency. The BURR scheduler can now backtrace and duplicate instructions in order to avoid "expensive / impossible to copy" values (e.g. status flag EFLAGS for x86) from being clobbered.

48d1e4517e When mixing SSE and x87 codegen, it's possible to 
have situations where an SSE instruction turns into
multiple blocks, with the live range of an x87
register crossing them.  To do this correctly make
sure we examine all blocks when inserting
FP_REG_KILL.  PR 1697.  (This was exposed by my
fix for PR 1681, but the same thing could happen
mixing x87 long double with SSE.)

asm to die with:

ScheduleDAG.cpp:269: failed assertion `false && "Couldn't find the register class"'

instead of:

d20c824b20 Factor the dominator tree calculation details out into DominatorCalculation.h. This 
change is not useful in and of itself, but it lays the groundwork for combining
the dominator and postdominator implementations.

Also, factor a few methods that are common to DominatorTree and PostDominatorTree
into DominatorTreeBase.  Again, this will make merging the two calculation methods
simpler in the future.

f1fc3a8fa6 Fix PR 1681. When X86 target uses +sse -sse2, 
keep f32 in SSE registers and f64 in x87.  This
is effectively a new codegen mode.
Change addLegalFPImmediate to permit float and
double variants to do different things.

910993e8dc Change APFloat::convertFromInteger to take the incoming 
bit width instead of number of words allocated, which
makes it actually work for int->APF conversions.
