fe125557dd The register specified for a dregpair is the corresponding Q register, so to
get the pair, we need to look up the sub-regs based on the qreg. Create a
lookup function since we don't have access to TargetRegisterInfo here to
be able to use getSubReg(ARM::dsub_[01]).

b2143b6247 Remove the experimental AliasAnalysis::getDependency interface, which
isn't a good level of abstraction for memdep. Instead, generalize
AliasAnalysis::alias and related interfaces with a new Location
class for describing a memory location. For now, this is the same
Pointer and Size as before, plus an additional field for a TBAA tag.

Also, introduce a fixed MD_tbaa metadata tag kind.

9d84fb3c91 Make NEON ld/st pseudo instruction classes take the instruction itinerary as
an argument, so that we can distinguish instructions with the same register
classes but different numbers of registers (e.g., vld3 and vld4). Fix some
of the non-pseudo NEON ld/st instruction itineraries to reflect the number
of registers loaded or stored, not just the opcode name.

de90bfd14a Eliminate a 'tst' that immediately follows an 'and'
by morphing the 'and' to its recording form 'andS'.

This is basically a test commit into this area, to
see whether the bots like me. Several generalizations
can be applied and various avenues of code simplification
are open. I'll introduce those as I go.

I am aware of stylistic input from Bill Wendling, about
where put the analysis complexity, but I am positive
that we can move things around easily and will find a
satisfactory solution.

5781f3e9fc When a function-local value with function-local metadata uses gets RAUWed with a
non-function-local value, it may result in the metadata no longer needing to be
function-local. Check for this condition, and clear the isFunctionLocal flag, if
it's still in the uniquing map, since any node in the uniquing map needs to have
an accurate function-local flag.

Also, add an assert to help catch problematic cases.

26c5663283 Invert and-of-or into or-of-and when doing so would allow us to clear bits of the and's mask.
This can result in increased opportunities for store narrowing in code generation. Update a number of
tests for this change. This fixes <rdar://problem/8285027>.

Additionally, because this inverts the order of ors and ands, some patterns for optimizing or-of-and-of-or
no longer fire in instances where they did originally. Add a simple transform which recaptures most of these
opportunities: if we have an or-of-constant-or and have failed to fold away the inner or, commute the order
of the two ors, to give the non-constant or a chance for simplification instead.

3ef1c8759a Teach if-converter to be more careful with predicating instructions that would
take multiple cycles to decode.
For the current if-converter clients (actually only ARM), the instructions that
are predicated on false are not nops. They would still take machine cycles to
decode. Micro-coded instructions such as LDM / STM can potentially take multiple
cycles to decode. If-converter should take treat them as non-micro-coded
simple instructions.

70c2fc0823 Discard metadata produced by LLVM 2.7. The value enumeration it used
is different from what the code now uses in a two ways: NamedMDNodes
were considered Values and included in the numbering, and the
function-local metadata counter wasn't reset between functions.

The later problem breaks lazy deserialization, so instead of trying
to emulate the old numbering, just drop the old metadata. The only
in-tree use case is debug info with LTO, where the QOI loss is
considered acceptable.

f9a26b89f8 What the loop unroller cares about, rather than just not unrolling loops with calls, is
not unrolling loops that contain calls that would be better off getting inlined. This mostly
comes up when an interleaved devirtualization pass has devirtualized a call which the inliner
will inline on a future pass. Thus, rather than blocking all loops containing calls, add
a metric for "inline candidate calls" and block loops containing those instead.

1485cc2bb3 x86 vector shuffle lowering now relies only on target specific
nodes to emit shuffles and don't do isel mask matching anymore.
- Add the selection of the remaining shuffle opcode (movddup)
- Introduce two new functions to "recognize" where we may get
potential folds and add several comments to them explaining why
they are not yet in the desidered shape.
- Add more patterns to fallback the case where we select
a specific shuffle opcode as if it could fold a load, but it
can't, so remap to a valid instruction.
- Add a couple of FIXMEs to address in the following days once
there's a good solution to the current folding problem.

6b964cd211 Don't add <imp-def> operands during register rewriting.
LiveIntervals already adds <imp-def> operands for super-registers when a subreg
def defines the whole register. Thus, it is not necessary to do it again when
rewriting.

In fact, the super-register imp-defs caused miscompilations because the late
scheduler couldn't see that the super-register was read.

We still add super-reg <imp-use,kill> operands when rewriting virtuals to
physicals.

447e7ac913 To shrink a t2LDM instruction to the 16-bit wide tLDM instruction, the base
register must be one of the destination registers for the load. Otherwise,

desired (otherwise, we'd have a t2LDM_UPD instead).

info. For example, we now report:

t.s:6:14: error: invalid operand for instruction

but we fail for common cases like:

t.s:11:4: error: invalid operand for instruction

   ^

because we don't know if this is supposed to be the reg/imm or imm/reg
form.

ec6789f4f9 have tblgen detect when an instruction would have matched, but
failed because a subtarget feature was not enabled. Use this to
remove a bunch of hacks from the X86AsmParser for rejecting things
like popfl in 64-bit mode. Previously these hacks weren't needed,
but were important to get a message better than "invalid instruction"
when used in the wrong mode.

This also fixes bugs where pushal would not be rejected correctly in
32-bit mode (just pusha).

50fb46983c Teach loop rotate to hoist trivially invariant instructions
in the duplicated block instead of duplicating them.

Duplicating them into the end of the loop and the preheader
means that we got a phi node in the header of the loop,
which prevented LICM from hoisting them. GVN would
usually come around later and merge the duplicated
instructions so we'd get reasonable output... except that
anything dependent on the shoulda-been-hoisted value can't
be hoisted. In PR5319 (which this fixes), a memory value
didn't get promoted.

beac75da37 implement rdar://6653118 - fastisel should fold loads where possible.
Since mem2reg isn't run at -O0, we get a ton of reloads from the stack,
for example, before, this code:

int foo(int x, int y, int z) {
  return x+y+z;
}

used to compile into:

_foo: ## @foo
	subq	$12, %rsp
	movl	%edi, 8(%rsp)
	movl	%esi, 4(%rsp)
	movl	%edx, (%rsp)
	movl	8(%rsp), %edx
	movl	4(%rsp), %esi
	addl	%edx, %esi
	movl	(%rsp), %edx
	addl	%esi, %edx
	movl	%edx, %eax
	addq	$12, %rsp
	ret

Now we produce:

_foo: ## @foo
	subq	$12, %rsp
	movl	%edi, 8(%rsp)
	movl	%esi, 4(%rsp)
	movl	%edx, (%rsp)
	movl	8(%rsp), %edx
	addl	4(%rsp), %edx ## Folded load
	addl	(%rsp), %edx ## Folded load
	movl	%edx, %eax
	addq	$12, %rsp
	ret

Fewer instructions and less register use = faster compiles.

46ffb231c6 Disable the asserts that check that normalization is perfectly
invertible. ScalarEvolution's folding routines don't always succeed
in canonicalizing equal expressions to a single canonical form, and
this can cause these asserts to fail, even though there's no actual
correctness problem. This fixes PR8066.

65482b1bb8 Re-apply r112883:
"For ARM stack frames that utilize variable sized objects and have either
large local stack areas or require dynamic stack realignment, allocate a
base register via which to access the local frame. This allows efficient
access to frame indices not accessible via the FP (either due to being out
of range or due to dynamic realignment) or the SP (due to variable sized
object allocation). In particular, this greatly improves efficiency of access
to spill slots in Thumb functions which contain VLAs."

r112986 fixed a latent bug exposed by the above.

1e3aeefc08 VirtRegRewriter checks for early clobbers before it reuses an available stack
slot.

Teach it to also check for early clobbered aliases, and early clobber operands
following the current operand.

This fixes the miscompilation in PR8044 where EC registers eax and ecx were
being used for inputs.

fc63300233 Check the local frame alignment for determining whether dynamic stack
alignment should be performed. Otherwise dynamic realignment may trigger
when the register allocator has already used the frame pointer as a general
purpose register. That is, we need to make sure that the list of reserved
registers doesn't change after register allocation.

instructions prior to regalloc. Since it's getting a little close to
the 2.8 branch deadline, I'll have to leave the rest of the instructions
handled by the NEONPreAllocPass for now, but I didn't want to leave half
of the VLD instructions converted and the other half not.
